The low thermal conductivity of TECNOFOAM (approximately 0.030 W/ m*K), offers excellent insulation, allowing the temperature inside the storage tank to be kept at a stable level.
The wide range of densities available offers ideal solutions for all types of tank structure and contents.
If the tank does not having any leaks and is equipped with a double enclosure system, TECNOFOAM polyurethane foam provides excellent insulation properties without altering its aesthetics or interior capacity.

TECNOFOAM is an aromatic material and will need protection from external agents such as UV rays using TECNOTOP 2C. If exterior waterproofing as protection against rain is required, apply TECNOCOAT P-2049 LV + TECNOTOP 2C.

To protect TECNOFOAM from contact with the stored contents it is necessary to apply TECNOCOAT P-2049, which in addition to providing high resistance to numerous chemical elements (please consult our technical department), is also officially certified as safe for use with food products, drinking water and alcohol.
