TECNOPLASTIC C+

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

• TECNOPLASTIC C +, is a plastic for the realization of surface texturing. The nature and degree of texture depends on the thickness, or the final need for the indicated use.
• This makes it possible to tailor the visual and functional properties to specific application needs.
• It is specially designed for use with TECNOTOP S-3000, or in road traffic applications, due to its high resistance to mechanical abrasion
• Depending on the formulation, TECNOPLASTIC C + can settle in storage. Use an anti sedimentation agent if necessary.
• Thermal stability is influenced by the exposure time and the binder used. It must be checked in exposures with temperatures above 140 ºC.
• TECNOPLASTIC C + can be used in solvent-based or non-solvent-based coatings, also in water-based systems.
• The fields of application can be both decorative and anti-slip surfaces.
• TECNOPLASTIC C + is resistant to most solvents, but this fact has to be verified from the coating formulation.

EXPIRATION

The shelf life of both components is 24 months stored at a temperature of between 5ºC to 35ºC in dry locations.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The application of TECNOPLASTIC C + is the following:

• Mix the desired dosage in component A of TECNOTOP S-3000, TECNOTOP 2C / 2CP. The amount to be added in each case will depend on the desired or required texture of the project, this action can be carried out using a mechanical stirrer. The use of added agents is not required, even when using water-based systems. Carry out this action until you get a homogeneous mixture.

• In systems with addition of PIGMENTS it must be added after the addition of these.

HANDLING AND TRANSPORTATION

In accordance with the CE regulation nº1272 / 2008 TECNOPLASTIC C + is not a classified dangerous product, therefore it does not have to present a label. Due to its powdery nature, its accumulation must be avoided to avoid the appearance of electrostatic charges.
